We embark sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city,also called ‘Kantipur’ or city of glory,visiting,’KUMARI’ the LIVING GODDESS,Kasthamandap,the Big Bell,Kal Bharab etc.We also visit ‘Swayambhunath temple’ .This is a Buddist temple set high on a hillock with a commanding view of the Kathmandu valley.
Lunch on own.
Tour of ‘Patan City’ one of the three queen cities of the vally.Patan is the city of fine arts,and we visit Durbar Square,Krishna Mandir,Mahavihar-Golden temple of Lord Buddha,built in the 12th century.Also visit the Tibetan centre.
After sightseeing tour drive to Nagarkot.Nagarkot (altitude 2,175m)is by far the most popular.Located 30kms east of Kathmandu.Nagarkot is popular for sunrise and sunset tour.At sunrise,the Himalayan range,stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east.Dinner and overnight at Nagarkot hotel/resort.
Breakfast.Departure transfer to airport for flight to Pokhara.Arrive Pokhara and checkin at hotel.Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast. We spend an interesting day exploring the sights and sounds of Pokhara, situated on the shores of beautiful Phewa Lake. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, perfect views of the Annapurnas are often reflected in its tranquil waters. Highlights of the day include Mahendra Cave, a visit to a Tibetan refugee camp, and boating on Lake Phewa. Also, in the late afternoon we can stroll by the lake, row to an island Hindu shrine, or just relax and wait for the sun to set behind the spectacular Himalayas.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast.You may want to boat around the Lake Fewa or take tours to view the awesome Himalayan peaks at close range.Later flight abck to Kathmandu.Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.Dinner and overnight at hotel.
